Skiing at its best
Skiing at Kronplatz in the Dolomites
From your apartment to the slopes in no time. Just a few steps from Apartments Gandler, the free ski bus stops every 20 minutes and takes you straight to the Kronplatz lifts in Gassl. Then it’s time to hit the slopes. As the No. 1 ski mountain in the Puster Valley, Kronplatz offers more than 120 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes, plenty of sunshine and spectacular views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks and the impressive 3,000-metre mountains of Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park. And when it’s time to take a break, you’ll find plenty of welcoming mountain huts on Kronplatz for a bite to eat or a drink – plus après-ski at the valley stations in Reischach, San Vigilio and Olang.
Dolomiti Superski – Europe’s largest ski area
From Kronplatz, you have direct access to Dolomiti Superski, one of Europe’s largest ski areas. With around 1,200 kilometres of slopes and 450 lifts, it offers an incredible variety of skiing across the Dolomites. From Alta Badia, you can join the legendary Sella Ronda – a spectacular 40-kilometre ski tour around the Sella Massif, crossing four Dolomite passes and taking you through the Ladin valleys of Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba and Val di Fassa. The route circles the impressive Sella Massif, with its dramatic rock faces and towering peaks – one of the most spectacular landscapes within the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site.
